I'm joining the team over at @MashedHQ to help cover food news!
It's part-time and freelance, so I'll still be covering games as much as I can for the time being, but expect more food articles from me as well (:
Big news on this week's podcast! @vgoccasion finally started Tunic! @buttlordprimus is playing at least three games at once. How does he find the energy, or time? #MNGamers

@adashtra Ash, Iโve really enjoyed you sharing your Snap Ws on Twitter. Iโve learned a lot from them! Itโs fun to imagine how the game played out.
It's a big FF anniversary day: On this day, Final Fantasy II (1988) & Final Fantasy XIII (2009) released for the first time - plus Final Fantasy X hit North America today in 2001.
Is one your fave? There's still a chance to vote for them in our FF poll: https://t.co/AqiXtdTVJk
@chas_mke I feel like they needed fashion to be stronger to justify the backtracking. Every chest was just a lightsaber part (kinda okay) or another boring poncho. Or tie mechanics to the equipment or something to differentiate it. Better collectibles.
@chas_mke โฆ which kinda makes sense in the narrative, but felt rough to play for me at first. Though it does provide the metroidvania โaha! I canโt wait to return here with a new ability to pass this obstacle!โ
@chas_mke I felt like the game wore its influences on its sleeve -> platforming/adventuring from Uncharted; combat from FromSoft; map/exploration from Metroid Prime. Had the sense that it didnโt all quite gel. Combat/platforming felt slow to lock in b/c itโs tied to the skill tree.
