@joshuanbarbozam Que lastima profe.

🎉 Attention Tutor Community! 🎉
I've received numerous inquiries about my study resources, strategies, and assessments leading to my score of 267 on the USMLE Step 2 CK. I'm Kamran Ahmad, a graduate of Khyber Medical College, Peshawar, class of 2020. Here's a comprehensive breakdown:
📚 Study Resources:
UWorld:
I began my journey with UWorld, utilizing its random and timed mode from day one to simulate exam conditions. Initially scoring at 63%, my performance gradually improved as I progressed through the questions. By the time I completed 80% of UWorld, I saw a significant improvement.
Amboss Qbank:
I incorporated Amboss Qbank specifically for hospital safety and Ethics Questions. Although not my primary resource, it provided valuable supplementary practice in these areas.
Amboss Library:
Used to strengthen my weak areas, the Amboss Library proved to be a valuable resource in reinforcing concepts and understanding challenging topics.
CMS Forms 7 & 8:
These forms were particularly helpful for subjects such as pediatrics, ObGyn, Surgery, neurology, and medicine. I used them to supplement my study material and ensure comprehensive coverage of the exam content.
High Yield Divine Podcast:
This podcast served as an additional learning tool, providing high-yield information and insights that complemented my study materials.
📝 Assessments (with Time Duration):
Throughout my preparation, I tracked my progress with assessments:
UWSA1 (3 months before exam): 262
NBME9 (2.5 months before exam): 251
NBME10 (2 months before exam): 264
NBME11 (50 days before exam): 266
NBME12 (35 days before exam): 257
NBME13 (25 days before exam): 266
NBME14 (15 days before exam): 267
UWSA2 (10 days before exam): 267
Online Free 120 (one day before exam): 85%
📅 Timeline:
My USMLE journey spanned 15 months, concurrently with an internal medicine residency and OET, with a dedicated period of 8 weeks leading up to the exam
📅 Final Days Before Exam:
In the last 10 days, I focused on revising algorithms from UWorld and integrating new CMS forms (7 & 8) into my study routine. The day before the exam, I prioritized relaxation and only completed the Online Free 120 to maintain a calm mindset.
🏋️ Exam Day:
On the day of the exam, I ensured I was well-prepared both mentally and physically. I woke up early, had a nutritious breakfast, and arrived at the exam center early. Throughout the exam, I took breaks after each block to stay refreshed and brought along almonds, dates, and an energy drink for sustenance.
Remember, staying relaxed during the exam is crucial. Avoid dwelling on single questions for too long and keep moving forward. Additionally, I pursued OET concurrently with CK preparation, maximizing my efficiency.
Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions. Best of luck to all tutors preparing for the USMLE Step 2 CK! 💪👨⚕️ #USMLE #Step2CK #TutorCommunity
