Holy crap the Official Change•org account just tweeted that the Petition to make Destiny 3 has over 400k Signatures!
Remember the petition for WoW Classic Servers had 270k Signatures and it was a MASSIVE success.
Clearly D3 needs to be Greenlit.

I’m glad this is making the rounds.
Before we started the petition, we looked into successful gaming petitions from the past to see if there was any precedent. A lot of people said it would take one million signatures, five million signatures, or some other massive number. The reality is that nobody knows what number, if any, would make a difference. It’s important to stay realistic. At the same time, there have been examples of communities accomplishing things with far fewer signatures.
I’d love to see the petition continue to grow, but tomorrow and the weeks ahead are going to be just as important when it comes to player participation. A strong player count sends a message too. Some communities are already organizing special events and offering to help carry as many players as possible through raids and other activities.
Tomorrow is going to be emotional. There will probably rivalries, reunions, tears, celebrations, and plenty of space magic. As always, some people will try to turn it into something negative for their own reasons. Don’t let them. Protect your little piece of Destiny tomorrow and spend it with the people who made the journey meaningful.
Not gonna lie today was even more difficult than yesterday, it's still such a blow.
Really struggling to think about where to go after the dust settles, like the update is gonna be so much fun and I'll have a blast with it and absolutely savor every single moment, but after that is just so scary man, I just don't think I'll ever be as dedicated to a game/franchise as I have Destiny.
Will try not to focus on that for now because the update looks genuinely amazing, it's just so sad it's the last one :/
Ray, our world is ending now. You didn't make it to the finish line, but I've played in your stead until the very end. I've seen the story unfold in ways you'd love & hate, I even ran a Clan. Funny, right? Game wasn't ever the same without you, I wish you were still here with me.
Bungie then made Destiny. Destiny was and is a force of nature, loved and held in the hands of so many people who, for a moment, were part of the biggest thing in gaming.
Then comes the words, summarized crudely: "The End."
Destiny isn't just another game. For all of us it is our home, life, our best friend, our partner in crime. It is everything to us. Yet @sony@Bungie are stupid to leave it behind. For what? Go rot in hell both of you #Destiny#Destiny2
