Another golf course closed today. Raveneaux - the first golf course I ever worked on - where I first learned about fire ants (made me drop my pants). Sad to see it go.
I tweeted this week about Madrid, and this is another course from the Robert Von Hagge design company, Seignosse in Biarritz, France. People that have been there will recognize the solitary tree between the 3rd and the 17th hole. https://t.co/i5fTgs5kkG
Todo listo en la RSHECC para la última jornada. Impresionante trabajo de todo el equipo de @JuanmaLobell y toda la oficina deportiva. @Fedgolfmadrid @rfegolf
Happy 30th birthday 🎁🎉🎈@legolfnational
On this day in 1990 the first fourball took to the Albatros course, the day before The Ford Classic.

🤔 Did you know 🤔
Saturday afternoons Foursomes saw the match of Alex Noren/Sergio Garcia 🇪🇺 & Bubba Watson/Webb Simpson 🇺🇸 halving a hole with a triple bogey 😳 ➕3️⃣
Can you name the hole?
#TBT -circa 1993 - knowing all partners would never be on the same job site, I convinced them to do a photo shoot on the lot next-door, which was being cleared. So it would appear like we were on a golf construction site - guess nobody took it serious.
#ThrowbackThursday - Robert told the story about designing a stadium style golf - “The Great One” (even before TPC courses were a thing). But, Robert was not above embellishing a story. Great find today - puts the story in context. Big men/big plans!
