28 years ago today, Matthew Shepard, a 21-year-old gay college student, died after being brutally beaten and left tied to a fence in Wyoming.
His murder became a defining moment in the fight against anti-LGBTQ+ violence and helped inspire federal hate crime legislation in 2009.
a girl hangs out with ‘hoes’ is automatically a ‘hoe’ but men who hang out with abusive, manipulative, rapist friends & all of a sudden it’s ‘not their business’
Pick a script and stick to.
As the "good kid" back in school, I hated it when teachers would punish the entire class for the actions of one or two students. It doesn't encourage other students to behave, it makes other students wonder what's the point in following the rules if they'll get punished anyway
That's how to respond to male violence! Enough dickriding men with the "men are stronger than women" narrative. Most niggas do NOT know how to fight. Make abusive men PAY and BEAT THEIR ASS BACK!!!!
If one of them decides to rape her, the rest will join. Men become sheep when they’re in a group of other men. The biggest threat isn’t just the man willing to hurt her ... it’s every man who knows it’s wrong but stays loyal to him anyway.
the fact that women could have their nudes leaked and their whole career could potentially be destroyed but men could have a whole ass R@PE ALLEGATION but still be the president of the US... i never wanna hear y'all argue that gender inequality doesn't exist
Condoms have been found in dogs, lizards, birds and even corpses. Yet when a “conventionally unattractive” woman speaks against rape, some men body shame her and ask, “Who would rape her?” So Dumb that u think rape happens becuz a woman is attractive enough to be desired. 🤦🏾♀️
