literacy is so bad rn that you can make yourself an asset simply by being able to articulate yourself well, think critically + having social skills. inadvertently became a trainer at work bc people are struggling that badly with verbiage/vocab and conversation skills
What’s more alarming than the decline in literacy is the total passivity & indifference that you see in so many people. No passions, no hobbies, not a single ember of wonder at the unfamiliar or willingness to learn new things. Ignorance can be cured, but incuriosity is death.

This is why I've always enjoyed the company of women much more. It is a feeling I'm not sure I will ever be able to express completely, but, way beyond romantic interest, women have brought joy in my life in virtually every area. Having conversations with them, working with them, watching them live — just being in their presence is pure bliss.
