Something my husband and I do every 6 months is what we like to call a “check in”. We have a face to face conversation to check and see whether or not we are meeting each other’s needs in communication, sex, emotional support, quality time, etc.
In order to have healthy relationships, we have to have open communication. Open communication involves asking questions, listening, and mutual sharing.
Without this, resentment creeps in.
