Today marks day 51 of the Iran War.
With ~600 million barrels of lost oil supply, ~$50 billion worth of oil has been removed from the global market.
This is the same amount of fuel it takes to run the world's international shipping industry for 4 months.
Truly unprecedented.
We cannot control other people. We can control ourselves.
Become the person you want to be - because YOU want to be that person.
The world is not going to become less hectic. Politicians are not suddenly going to make perfect sense. Your relatives are not all going to become kind and reasonable. Managers everywhere are not going to start making completely rational decisions.
Make peace with life as it is. When you stop expecting the world to behave according to your preferences, you free yourself to focus on what truly matters.
You can still make a positive difference. You can still choose how you show up. You can still bring a little more kindness, clarity, and compassion into your corner of the world.
Move forward with an open heart. Make the difference you can make. And enjoy the journey.
Life is good.

Está publicada la nueva regulación de Almacenamiento de Energía. Un gran esfuerzo para brindar certeza y promover las inversiones en el sector eléctrico en nuestro país.

Not true at all. It doesn't matter what the electricity source is. You can see this on the sticker of a gasoline vehicle versus an electric vehicle.
For example, a 2023 Ford F-150 4WD battery-electric truck gets 480 Wh/mi on electricity. That equals 578.7 miles/GJ.
A 2023 Ford F-150 4WD flex-fuel truck gets 18 miles/gal running on gasoline. That equals 139.1 miles/GJ.
As such, the battery-electric version uses 76.2% less energy per mile as the gasoline version.
Alternatively, the electric version goes 4.2 times the distance for the same energy.
It doesn't matter what the electricity source is. This also save you money, in fact the BEV saves $35,000 in fuel cost over 15 years driving 15K miles per year.

A fleet of four AI-powered robots just installed 100 megawatts of solar panels at a utility-scale project in California.
One panel per minute. No labor shortages. No fatigue.
Maximo's robots, built with NVIDIA simulation tools and AWS infrastructure, just proved that physical AI works at energy scale.

Golden Pass announces first LNG production (train 1).
The facility has two other trains, expected to come online by 3Q 2026 and 1Q 2027, respectively. When in full production, it would add ~18 million ton per year (more than current QatarEnergy losses).
Real pleasure comes from overcoming challenges, feeling confidence in your abilities, gaining fluency in skills, and experiencing the power this brings. You develop patience. Boredom no longer signals the need for distraction, but rather the need for new challenges to conquer.

Over 10,000 Americans are waiting for a liver transplant. MIT Engineers developed injectable “mini livers” that could take over the functions of a failing liver. The technology could offer an alternative to transplantation or provide support until a donor organ is available. https://t.co/RxSrNqD4b4

This one actually made me pause.
Scientists built a robot made of liquid.
Not flexible.
Liquid.
It can split, merge, squeeze through tiny spaces, and then re-form.
When it breaks, it heals itself.
No motors.
No joints.
No rigid body.
I’ve spent years thinking about AI as the brain of machines.
This feels like the first glimpse of something else.
A body that does not have a fixed shape.
Today it’s millimeter-scale.
Tomorrow, it’s medicine moving through the body, or machines exploring places nothing solid can reach.
That thought excites me.
And honestly, it unsettles me too.
So here’s the question.
When machines no longer have a stable form, what does “control” even mean?

Mexico's export model is broken. Exports to the US are very strong, but real GDP per capita is stuck at 2007 levels. Local value added must be very low, so goods from elsewhere just get repackaged and go to the US. That doesn't make Mexicans better off.
