Recently @thedollop (with @daveanthony and @reynoldsgareth) posted their 500th (and 501st) episode. Since the 11th May (ep 480) I have re-listened to all 606 hours of the podcast, mostly at x1.75 speed (about 5 eps a day), for this purpose: #TheDollop
Long 🧵:
On Sunday, Channel 7's Spotlight program aired a report called "The Gender Agenda". The ad asserted that kids who identified as trans were "brainwashed", to give us an idea of its own agenda in putting together this report. Liam Bartlett is the interviewer.

This argument of “you’re voting Yes because you trust the govt?!” Is stupid. I’m voting Yes because I’d prefer if we could hold this and future Govts accountable.
Been reflecting a lot on neurodiversity in history, trying to figure out where my people were hanging out during various historical eras.
I, uh. I have bad news about the burning of witches.
@redwallwiki I used to have the map and the diy cardboard abbey model. As a kid for book week I made my own MTW sword 🗡️ (and then forgot it which kind of ruined my costume). I’ve been thinking of making some redwall crochet plushies when I get better at it
Why is it so hard for people to understand that the Bible is simply a BOOK written by MEN, and revised over and over again by MEN, thousands of years ago? It's just a BOOK. It doesn't matter what it says. It doesn't matter how it's interpreted. It's just a fucking BOOK.
@birdiejane23 Ted Lasso had at least four great love stories: Ted and Rebecca. Ted and Beard. Rebecca and Keeley. Jamie and Roy (my personal favorite). What do they have in common? None involve romantic love. Not many shows spend this kind of time developing platonic relationships.
@amandabb__ Like many of the calls on that show it’s based on a real thing that happened. The 218 just happen to get all the cases that should and did make international news 😅 https://t.co/vwYq3JY20L.
