Is it just me, or does anyone else feel like their phone chooses the most financially precarious period of their life to act as if it’s on a suicide mission? Almost as if it is hell bent on falling and breaking into pieces at any cost?
What is Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee waiting for?
In my opinion, they should remove the SAN honour conferred on Abubakar Malami, the same way they did for Mike Ozekhome.
When given the opportunity to reflect or show empathy, she doubled down:
“Do I still believe that what I said was right? Yes!”
Res ipsa loquitur.
SOMETIMES THE STRONGEST EVIDENCE IS A PERSON’S OWN WORDS. One thing is certain I knw who not to vote for and I’m not a misogynist.
When a candidate says “WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET” the real test isn’t authenticity, it’s whether they listen and accept accountability. As AGC Chair, Mrs. Badejo hiked fees on young lawyers, showed zero empathy, and openly dismissed their concerns. That’s exactly what we saw.
We also need to verify the authenticity of said CCTV Evidence in line with the provisions of the Evidence Act around electronically generated evidence.
Make e no be say na Spark 2 them dey masquerade as CCTV because why is the camera shaking like a person with cold and malaria?
Ladies and gentlemen, I appreciate the transparency this situation has garnered. However, let's review the statements made by the minister who is also a SAN.
- The vehicle arrived at 20:28.
- The driver parked at 20:30.
- The driver returned to retrieve an item from the vehicle at 20:32.
- He returned two minutes later, at 20:34, to find the vehicle clamped.
The total duration of this activity was approximately SIX MINUTES, which is within the TEN MINUTES allowance for passenger activities at Heathrow Airport.
Now, let's consider the information the minister did not disclose to the public.
- The precise time Peter Obi's vehicle was clamped.
- The maximum permissible time for passengers to disembark from their vehicle before a violation occurs.
It would be beneficial to obtain answers to these questions and potentially commission an independent investigation by joint reputable institutions, each nominated by the minister, Peter Obi, and the CSO, to examine the authentic CCTV footage to ascertain the exact sequence of events for what exactly happened for public clarity.
I was at this session in 2024, and the disappointment I felt when I heard that response was next to nothing.
I literally almost melted from shock, because how is a Senior Advocate and mother who lives in this country with us able to give that response with a straight face?
Sigh.
Mrs Badejo-Okusanya SAN was asked in 2024 about the high cost of conference fees and the attendant impact on young lawyers. Guess what she said? Cue. Same thing that David Mark said when he's asked about the high cost of telephone lines.
I am almost certain that those kids are being thoroughly beaten by the rain, and that’s the least of the unsavory elements they have to contend with wherever they are.
Meanwhile, our President and members of his party are busy campaigning and hosting party events all over.
Sigh.
Please if this comes on your feed kindly repost the main post and tag Uber until they take this seriously. The situation is really exhausting for us. Thank you 🙏🏾❤️
When God the Father fulfills His promise and raises us in glorified bodies; no hunger, no tears, no thirst, I pray I still need you.
When every limitation has been lifted, when we are finally free, I hope He leaves one want in me untouched.
One place where I am still reaching.
Just one.
You.
Joyeux anniversaire mon amour. 🫶🏾
This is real, and I have a perspective.
We make being Catholic so hard sometimes, especially in this clime.
Most confessionals I’ve been to abroad have a complete guide to confession placed there, and it’s okay to read from that book - nothing weird.
God’s love should be easy.
