Compared to books its barely average as far as writing goes. The art and the grim magical world is amazing. I didn't like Rudeus at all but I enjoyed the anime. You can enjoy an anime even if you dont like the Mc. Honestly, in most shows the side characters are far more interesting.

Nah. I'm not going Nancy Clancy style crashing out or ruining the lives of the REST of my family after losing a loved one or suffering some trauma. What kind of horse dung is that? Many a people have lost more and didn't take it out on anyone. Considering Rudeus weak character I think the writing is very genuine and fits the story well. It is consistent story wise. This is what I would expect from the rat boy. It was a little boring but not a bad episode.

@ChibiReviews I would still find female Rudeus repulsive for having a shrine with someone's nasty underwear. I enjoyed the anime despite a pathetic main character. Great art style and grim magical world was pretty cool.

Athiesm is a knowledge claim. This is so embarrassing. Your basically ruling out a scientific possibility without evidence. Of course definitions are muddled these days since many are cowards. I'm not a hard athiest but a soft one i mean agnostic athiest or some other such drivel.

She strikes me as the incarnation of proverbs 21:19. I scrolled and searched through many of her endless ramblings and didn't see a peep about Clancy. Just a lot of whining about lions and women being made in the image of God. Also found goofy pronouns and the genetic suicide flag. It makes me wonder why such a noisy person with a 197,000 tweets has nothing to say on the Clancy matter that I could find.

@Leaflit Insanity. The bible, especially the old testament, graphically illustrates the worst of humanity. It is because we see the horrors of humanity done through the generations that we come to the proper conclusion that we are doomed without divine intervention.

I'll be honest. I've enjoyed a lot of anime since the time of toonami. They are at best the fast food version of a story book. The art styles are truly amazing to behold but I have never found a riveting story amongst the sea of anime. Once technology in a.i. progresses, a tsunami of new stories from right sided minds will hopefully burst forth. I already have 2 stories planned.

I love the world, art style, magic and combat system and the overall grim theme. I really dont like a particular character with a dirty laundry shrine. Absolutely pathetic in ways I can not even describe. Still though, I enjoyed the show and the books even with a limp peen main character.
