@dostoevesque Alot of parents tried their best and still screwed up. Its possible to understand how their behavior impacted you w/o holding onto resentment. I found moving on with forgiveness in your heart instead of using therapy speak to vilifying everyone in your life is far more peaceful

@imbethmccoll Saying a word should be added back to our lexicon and being “desperate to use it” are two different things. This word was used for years as the proper term then was made harmful. It shouldnt be ok to say in normal convos but it wasnt a word intentionally made for harm like others

@B1llyboy99 I don’t think it’s a problem with masculinity but changing what it means to people. It shouldn’t be tied to a man’s worth. It’s should describe the good qualities in men like strength and kindness rather than aggression and dominance. Men can be masculine in their own ways
