It really doesn’t make any sense. Aquatics, track, rugby & cycling all stop males from competing again females on the grounds of fairness & safety. Boxing is very probably the sport with the biggest biological performance difference between the sexes. World boxing took the safe option & said no males in women’s sport. The IOC are deliberately ignoring ALL the peer reviewed evidence & are negligent for duty of care for female boxers. It’s an utter disgrace from a misogynist organisation who throughout history have not policed female sport as they should have.
