The situation was quite like 9/11.

Terrorist trained to be a pilot, looks for an opportunity to enter the cockpit, and then kill the captain to eventually take control of the plane & crash it.

This plan was even more foolproof. The terrorist was the co-pilot, no need of announcing a hijack, had an axe instead of a box-cutter, and just had to neutralise one pilot instead of two.

Imagine the bravery of the Indian pilot, who was relentlessly being attacked by an axe, yet managed to relay the signal of a hi jack. And MOST IMPORTANTLY opened the cockpit door so that others can enter. Saved 100+ lives.

Nimisha was a Gauhati University student. Ashiq Ali was a Rapido driver.

Friends told her. Relatives told her. Hindu organisations told her this boy is from a love jihad line.

She shut every warning. One night she went with him to a homestay. At 2 in the morning she called her father and said she cannot breathe, they are kicking her chest and stomach.

The call died there. Next day police found her body in that same homestay. Injuries on the face, on the chest, on the stomach, even on the private parts. That is how the “love story” ended.

Her father is standing in front of cameras and saying he wants Ashiq Ali to get the same treatment his daughter got. That pain is real. The pattern is also real. First the sweet talk, then the homestay, then the last phone call, then a dead Hindu girl and a boyfriend in custody.

How many more girls will walk into this trap after everyone around them already screamed stop. Share this so the next one at least hears the ending before she books the room.

At 20, Bittu Tabahi stepped into a polluted river — without gloves, boots or even knowing how to swim — and started cleaning it himself.

On 26 January 2026, the BSc student from Madhya Pradesh began cleaning the Ajnar River near a temple in Biaora, removing plastic and other waste that had turned parts of the river into a dumping ground.

He even began turning puja waste into compost and pooled money with friends to buy tools and dustbins.

The effort cost him around ₹30,000, and at one point, he suffered infections on his hands.

Then his work reached thousands online. Some accused him of doing it for likes.

Bittu’s surname means “destruction.” Today, he is trying to destroy something else: water pollution.

Because sometimes, change begins when one person stops waiting for someone else to start.
