My ideal, predicted scenario. Parliamentary Standards Commissioner rules that Farage should have declared £5m. That triggers Electoral Commission to determine if Harborne was a permissible donor at the time. (I suspect not). They find he wasn't and open criminal investigation. Police/NCA get involved and discover numerous other "donations" laundered from around the world. Farage goes to prison.
There is no ceasefire in Lebanon with I$raeli attacks continuing in the south as it insists the MOU between Iran and the US doesn’t apply to them.
Multiple villages have been targeted this morning with demolition operations while a booby-trapped vehicle was detonated on the road between Haris and Tebnine.
Some municipalities have warned people not to return as many of those displaced from their homes are heading south.
I$raeli forces this morning opened fire on Kfar Roummaine and also targeted the area around Maifdoun as civilians tried to return with at least one person wounded.

Israeli settlers just torched multiple villages in the West Bank.
This is how they act when diplomacy and peace threatens their blood-thirst wars.

@Keir_Starmer@UKinUSA Several points missing from this statement: firstly the impact on human lives in the region, it is not all about getting the ‘oil flowing’ again; secondly the international move to bring genocide criminals to justice must happen.
The Trump administration took the names of nine enslaved people off a memorial at George Washington's home. A judge ordered them back.
That memorial sits at the site of George Washington's presidential home in Philadelphia, and the order to restore it came Friday from U.S. District Judge Angel Kelley in Boston.
Her ruling forces the Interior Department to put back the slavery exhibit there, along with the signs and displays it pulled from parks and monuments nationwide because, in the government's own words, they "do not align with its preferred narrative."
The fight comes down to one question: who gets to be in the story of America?
This administration decided it could delete the people it found inconvenient. The judge said no.
It started with an executive order Trump signed in March 2025, "Restoring Truth and Sanity to American History."
The order claimed a "revisionist movement" had smeared the country as "inherently racist, sexist, oppressive, or otherwise irredeemably flawed," and sent the Interior Department into the parks to scrub anything that fit. It named one target directly: Independence National Historical Park in Philadelphia, where the nation declared that all men are created equal.
That is where you see what the words meant. The Park Service took down the memorial to the nine people Washington enslaved at his presidential home.
Those were the same people who cooked and cleaned and were owned by the first president while he ran the new republic. Their names stood on that wall until this administration decided visitors should not have to read them.
Another judge had already ordered that one restored. She compared the government's claim that it gets to decide which history is true to the Ministry of Truth in Orwell's "1984."
Kelley went wider. Her order swept in exhibits on abolition, immigration, labor, women's suffrage, civil rights, and the climate, quietly pulled from sites including Fort Sumter and the Grand Canyon.
She did not soften it. The government, she wrote, had tried to "rewrite the Nation's history with a white-out pen," telling "half-truths" about the country it claims to honor.
The Interior Department's entire response was to call her a "liberal activist judge" and threaten an appeal.
It had no answer for the white-out pen, because there isn't one. Slavery happened. The people who built this country existed, and their names were carved into a wall in Philadelphia until someone here decided to erase them.
America turns two hundred and fifty this year. This administration's idea of honoring that was to pick which Americans were allowed in the story.
The white-out pen is going back in the drawer. The names go back on the wall, by the Fourth of July, by court order.

🚨🗣️New: Thierry Henry reacts to the USA vs Paraguay stoppage for TV commercials:
“I’ve spent my entire life in this beautiful game — as a player at the highest level, as a fan, and now as someone who analyses it every week — and what unfolded during that USA versus Paraguay match left me deeply frustrated. The fourth official standing there on the touchline, arm raised high, instructing the referee to hold the restart… not for any injury, not for tactical reasons, and not even primarily for player hydration in that scorching heat. No. It was because the broadcast team hadn’t finished airing all their commercials. That’s not football. That’s a television show pretending to be a World Cup match.
The beautiful game is being strangled by greed. Players are out there in the heat, ready to restart, momentum building like a storm about to break — and we pause everything so the sponsors can cash in. It’s like stopping a symphony mid-crescendo because the advertisers want their jingle heard. Football didn’t conquer the world by turning into American sports with endless timeouts and ad breaks. We had rhythm, flow, emotion that flowed like a river. Now? It’s dammed up for dollars.
This isn’t about hydration or player welfare anymore — it’s a slippery slope where the soul of the game is sold piece by piece. Fans deserve better. Players deserve better. The referee on that pitch looked like a puppet on strings controlled from some broadcast truck. Enough is enough. We need to protect what made this sport the greatest on Earth before it disappears completely.”
The World Cup should be football’s cathedral. Instead, we’re turning it into a shopping mall with a pitch in the middle.
And here’s the question nobody wants to answer: if the fourth official is waiting for commercials, then who is really running the game? FIFA? The referee? Or the broadcasters?
Because the moment football starts asking advertisers for permission before asking the players, you’ve crossed a line.
The World Cup is supposed to be the showcase of football. Not the showcase of who paid the most for airtime.”
