20年以上日本に住んでいますが、この国の良い部分——安全性、信頼性、日常の気遣い——を毎日実感しています。それらは本物です。
でも、日本も普通の国です。同じようなことはアメリカでも起きています。完全に同意します。
ただ、日本でも確かに起きているんです。ジャニーズの男性アイドルグループや中居正広さんの件は、建前と本音の典型的な例だと思います。何十年もの間、表向きは清潔で真面目でほぼ完璧なアイドルという顔をしていました。でも実際の内側では、権力が長期にわたって濫用され、それが守られ隠されてきたのです。
この磨かれた表面と実際に起きていたことのギャップがあるからこそ、理想化された部分だけでなく、全体像を示す必要があると思います。

According to Nazi racial ideology (the hierarchy pushed by theorists like Hans Günther and reflected in Hitler’s overall racial worldview in Mein Kampf), Nordics were at the top and the Mediterranean type was ranked second among European races. So by their own standards she’d already be in the “second zone.”
How can she be a Nazi with that ranking? The irony is strong.

When I met my Japanese wife in the US and me knowing nothing about Japan I asked where she was from and she said Tokyo, but again she’s from Ageo in Saitama. She said it because that was the closest place she thinks I would know! 😂😂😂 and it was 24 years ago and a private conversation.

Plenty of attention went to extreme right-wing agendas on immigration and “illegals” in a country where foreigners are still under 3%. Groups like Sanseito pushed that hard. Now the everyday realities are catching up—rising prices and household costs—and Takaichi’s favorability is dropping, especially among the very groups (conservatives, women in their 30s/40s, even some of her earlier base) who once backed her. Polls show people prioritizing livelihood issues over the other stuff.
The old LDP–Komeito alliance had its problems, but it kept more of a practical balance on the cost-of-living side that a lot of people are missing right now.
