@SarahPears5915 Which two posts? I can’t answer the question because I don’t understand it. It’s not clear to me what you are asking. The truth is that sex is binary and immutable. The UK law (Supreme Court) is that female, woman and women-only refers to sex, not gender identity. I accept that.

People call others (sometimes even to police) ‘cunts’ & it’s not an offence they are arrested for, just to put this idea into perspective.

I’m female with short hair and trousers, or a name like Chris. But it means our sex is important and affects our lives differently to men.

@SarahPears5915 @Summersday4 @CrunchAlias 1/2 Well, sex does matter because it gives men and women very different bodies. The typical patterns / traits of those bodies have caused women to be the sex which is more commonly disadvantaged. Maternity leave, physical violence, sporting prowess etc.

But if you were born male, you remain a male, albeit one with a feminine gender identity. ‘Woman’ is a term specifically for adult females.
