I was at a POS stand this evening when an elderly man, probably in his 70s, came to withdraw ₦1,000.

He asked the POS lady to speak with his son, who transferred the money immediately.

She counted ₦900 and handed it to him.

The old man said softly, “The charge is usually ₦50, not ₦100.”

But the woman snapped, “Baba, abeg no stress me. Na ₦100 charge for ₦1k.”

The man looked devastated. You could tell he had already calculated what that ₦950 would buy, and that extra ₦50 meant everything.

I stepped in and told the POS lady to give him ₦10,000.

Some days after I installed WhatsApp and TikTok for the b@nd!ts’ leader, Sidin, he came across a Facebook acc 'OS acc' and he copied the contact. He sent her a voice note on WhatsApp in Hausa because he couldn’t type. The girl replied in English with “Hi.”

After that, he kept trying to reach her on video call repeatedly, but she didn’t pick. Later, he called me, handed me his phone, and asked me to speak to her on his behalf.

I continued chatting with her and told her I wanted a video call. She said I would need to send money first. When I asked how much, she said N25k for the VC.

I informed Sidin, and he agreed. I asked for her acc details, and she sent a PalmPay acc with the name 'Deborah Samuel'. Meanwhile, Bororojo and some other members had gone out that morning.

Sidin called Bororojo and told him to send the N25k. I forwarded the acc details, and after a while, Bororojo confirmed the transfer had been made.

I then texted the girl again, telling her we had sent the money and asked if we could proceed with the video call. Instead, she sent a short video showing her chest(boobs) only.

I was shocked and showed Sidin. He still insisted on the video call, so I called her again, but she didn’t pick. Later, she said if we truly wanted a live video call, we would have to send another N50k.

I reported everything to Sidin, and he refused. Then I told him the lady was a scammer and a thief. That was where it ended.

He instructed me to return to the remaining victims.

I was doing everything in fear, my heart was never at rest. 😓💔
