I didn't have a great sleep last night 🥴, don't imagine I'll need to wait for the steroids/pre-meds to kick in before I'm snoozing 😴

Slightly longer than anticipated, although all ok. Didn't get into treatment chair until just before noon, #Ocrevus #infusion started around 12.30 pm. Finally home, traffic was slow. I've slept a lot and couldn't sleep again. But first a wee walk first after sitting all day.

"Conversation is the communal air we breathe". A summary & sketchnote of "Supercommunicators" - a new book by @cduhigg. It sets out why some people ("supercommunicators") are able to connect with others, build consensus & influence people to join them. He suggests this can be replicated. The first step is working out what kind of conversation we are having. Is it:
1) analytical (What’s this really all about?)
2) emotional (How do we feel?)
3) identity based (Who are we?).
Only after recognising what type of conversation the other person wants to have can we connect:

Team McMillan day of rest. Quarter final game against 🇩🇪 tomorrow at 12noon.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿v🇯🇵 - a nail biter! Came down to the last 🥌. Amazing comeback & fight to the end by Team Thomson! Semi final tomorrow at 6pm v 🇨🇦.

Mixed Doubles - 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 secured their place in quarter final.

Day 5 see's both 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿senior teams, Team Thomson (5W-0L) and Team McMillan (3W-2L) progress to the quarter finals tomorrow - #cheeringForOverHere

In the mixed doubles, 4W-3L, 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 sit joint third with 2 round robin games still to play.
