Our people strategy outlines our commitment to our staff that enables us to achieve our ambition to be a great place to work.
And by supporting the well-being of our staff we will in turn improve the outcomes for our patients.
Our People Strategy builds on the aims & ambitions of the EMAS Five Year Strategy. It guides our workforce plan - inc. staff wellbeing, inclusion & development.

At the end of 2023, we launched the new EMAS Clinical Strategy, which sets out our new clinical operating model 🚑
It’s important to us that everyone can access and understand our Clinical Strategy. You can download an accessible Summary on our website: https://t.co/Qaca5W2fKc
The development of the EMAS Clinical Strategy was led by EMAS Medical Director @NicoleSAtkinson & Director of Operations @EMAS_BenH, in collaboration with #TeamEMAS colleagues, patients & partners. Thanks to everyone who was involved.

Excited to launch our new EMAS clinical strategy. This represents a shift in how we deliver care to enable us to support even more people at home and in the right place at the the right time. Great conversations and engagement this week launching it with system partners.
Was great ( if a little nerve racking) to host an online conversation cafe today alongside @drmanikarora and @EMAS_TimS, to share our new clinical strategy with staff and answer some questions. Available for EMAS staff on workplace to watch back. @EMASNHSTrust
Really excited that we have now launched our new clinical strategy a critical part of delivering our EMAS ambitions. Join us at Tuesdays conversation cafe to find out more.

In the NHS so much of what we do is about these goals and reducing health inequalities, but this provides framework to consider what more we can do at @EMASNHSTrust and how we shout about what we already do!
Great to get out today with a Hucknall ambulance crew. Rosie and Trevor took great care of me. Our teams always have the patient at the centre of what they do but so often the wider health system challenges make that harder! @EMASNHSTrust
Week 2 #NHS1000miles not got out quite so much this week but still logged 34 miles. Some early morning walks, many many hours dancing and when I can’t get out running inside! All helps me feel healthy and energised - Hopefully it all makes up for todays cakes!
A little late logging my first week of #NHS1000miles. I got mine with a mixture of walking , dancing (a half marathon worth according to Fitbit) and running (inside) 35.16miles in total!
Today we will be reuniting our ambulance crew with Nottinghamshire schoolgirl Daisy Hamer, in order to present her with a bravery award for her quick-thinking actions.
Daisy called 999 for her mum after she became unresponsive and stopped breathing. Despite feeling very upset about what was happening, Daisy was able to answer all the questions asked by the Emergency Medical Advisor to ensure her mum got the help she needed until the ambulance crew arrived.
#NHS1000miles 2024 signing up for some new motivation! Really struggled to get out in the dark and rain for a run recently, so let’s hope this challenge helps me!
Excited to be at ambulance leadership forum for the next few days! Already inspired from this mornings EDI session as we head into the opening event! #ALF2023
Excited and nervous to announce I started my latest challenge today - Executive masters in Business Administration at NTU! Whole new challenge alongside work and family life but hopefully some great learning from other sectors to bring back into the NHS and EMAS!
