I still prefer fighting to get tickets over having some random lottery system in which you register for the chance of getting a code (which was the case for Taylor Swift in the UK)...Ended up paying 5x the price on resale websites because I really wanted to see Folklore live.😭
Getting @MCRofficial tickets was haaaard😅 Everytime I tried to put them into my cart they disappeared, but I eventually stopped trying to get a good seat and just threw the first tickets I saw were available to my cart...then I GOT THEM!! So happy! 🖤
Didn't expect to hear to an instant classic when I played @Jakebugg 's new album, A Modern Day Distraction.
If you like blues, folk or rock and you haven't listened to it yet, do yourself a favour and play ''I Wrote the Book'' and ''Breakout''.

To the kind railway worker that helped me when I was distraught in #Kettering as I watched myself being unable to change platforms quick enough (too many luggages) to get the last train to Wellingborough, thank you! You helped me get a taxi and get home safe +

People who listen to music, WhatsApp messages, YouTube videos, whatever out loud in public transport…What are you doing and why don’t you just buy headphones? Your loud sound is so annoying for other people. 😭
Submitted my documentary about eating disorders in men on Friday to be assessed by the uni, and I have to say, meeting my interviewees was the best part about this project. They were truly extraordinary men and I was impressed by their strength while facing something so serious.
I had days off, watched tv and felt very stressed, but I made it and you can do it too. Sure, I was lucky enough to not have to get a part-time job, so I had the privilege to focus on my studies, but I swear, being organised and disciplined was key to my success. #examresults
Realising it's #examresults day. If you didn't do well in your 1st year of A levels, don't worry. I didn't either. But I organised my timetable so in my final year I had + than 100 hours of revision for each subject prior to exams. I ended up at @UniofNottingham. You've got this!
@PuddletheDuck Hi, I'm contacting from the BBC Lincolnshire. I was wondering if we could have a chat to Jess Meakin about her daughter's challenge to read a pile of books that stand as tall as her, if so please, don't hesitate to tweet back.
This is why I chose to do my research on men struggling with eating disorders. I don’t know whether the journalist had another reason to opt for a female, but based on the tweet, choosing only women for an ED story seems like perpetuating a stereotype.
A journalist told me yesterday that they would rather NOT have me to speak on an #eatingdisorders story because I am not female.
Can you believe that? So much for awareness raising and challenging stereotypes, it seems the expected stories are still more favourable 😤
A toddler just cried a little on the train because he lost a UNO match to his mum and to calm him down she said, “this game is just how life is: sometimes you win, sometimes you lose and you need to be okay with it”. Safe to say I’m impressed by how she handled it and it worked.
Looking for NHS nurses or doctors who worked during lockdown treating men with ED for a radio documentary + academic work. If you're interested or know someone who could be interested, tweet me back or dm me please. #journorequest#eatingdisorders@beatED @TalkEDCharity
Someone living in the flat above mine is listening to Video Games by Lana Del Rey on repeat and I know for a fact that either someone proposed to them or they're going through a breakup. There's no ''in-between'' with Video Games.
I made my parents listen to Fearless, Speak Now and Folklore for hours on car trips. Watched her Speak Now DVD with my parents when I was still at school. Now, I see on re-sale websites that if I decide to watch her I'll have to pay £590. I cannot afford it. #TaylorSwiftErasTour
It makes me so sad to see I was put on the waiting list for Taylor Swift tickets. Been a fan of @taylorswift13 for the longest time. Her fearless record was one of the first CDs I ever bought. Just don't understand how a ''tickets lottery'' is any better than a website crashing.
