The reason behind Lagos Traffic in the past 24 hours is so complex.

From inadequate road infrastructure to unworthy heavy duty vehicles and impatience.

Hope we do better as a people.

[Abiodun @bin_gbada]

When Anthony Joshua, one of the richest boxers in the world, was involved in an accident in Nigeria, there was no emergency ambulance in sight & there was no emergency toll free line.

Also, he was taken to the hospital in the backseat of a police truck.

If someone of his caliber couldn’t get emergency services as soon as possible, there’s genuinely no hope for the common man.

Unfortunately, there’s no hope in sight with this present administration. All hope is lost.

🚨 URGENT APPEAL: MY MUM HAS BEEN KIDNAPPED — PLEASE HELP US BRING HER HOME 🚨

MY MUM, OREMADE OLAYINKA, HAS BEEN ABDUCTED. WE DESPERATELY NEED HELP.

On Friday, 14 August 2026, at approximately 5:00 PM, a vehicle carrying four women was attacked by armed men along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway, around the Alakpako axis in Ogun State.

The attackers reportedly pursued the vehicle while firing shots, causing it to crash. Two of the women managed to escape, while my mum, Oremade Olayinka, and another woman were abducted and taken into the surrounding bush.

It has now been several days since my mum was taken.

The kidnappers have reportedly demanded a ₦200 MILLION ransom.

A report has been made at Ajebo Police Station, and search efforts involving vigilantes and other relevant authorities are ongoing.

¡Te amo, Argentina! 🇦🇷

🚨 Zlatan Ibrahimović on Lionel Messi not winning the World Cup Golden Ball:

🗣️: “What else did Messi have to do to win it? I genuinely don’t understand the criteria anymore. If you look back at 2018, Luka Modrić won the Golden Ball without winning the World Cup. So what changed now?

“Messi carried Argentina throughout the tournament, delivered when it mattered most, and was once again the player everyone feared. If that wasn’t enough, then tell me what is.

“It feels like the standards are always different when it comes to Messi. Every other player gets judged one way, but with him, people suddenly move the goalposts. It’s always against Messi.

“I’m happy for Rodri, but from a football perspective, I don’t think anyone had a stronger case than Messi.”
