@FitMarshmellow It's just Peter going down a list of "is this villain locked up forever? Is this guy redeemed? Is he out of the life? Is he dead?"
Because he can't not be scared of the idea of a single one of them finding out, and it being his kid on that bridge, or crushed by debris, or etc
@FitMarshmellow Sometimes I like to headcanon the final battle with Norman in the MC2 to be a fight Peter starts and *wants* it to end with him dead
I dont think he'd take pleasure in it or find it a good thing but I imagine his last year before retiring is him settling the scores with everyone
- A year later and he hasn’t learned enough Kryptonese to understand the message
- The Superman Robots and Fortress serve little function in the movie to connect Kal to his Kryptonian heritage
- Kal never shows a desire to know about his home planet even with Kara around
and what did the message say, SK? What was the message for? What was the narrative purpose? (Hint: It was to make sure his heritage was evil as possible so he doesn't have to care about krypton and just be a 2d PATRIOTIC MERICAN who hates aliens and loves assimilation)
Gunn deciding to go full American exceptionalism with his version of Superman is so frustrating. Extremely hacky to give Supergirl all the angst of losing krypton while everything good and heroic about Clark is attributed to his American upbringing. Just plain evil.
Yeah man, we totally should cover up Robert Pattinson's expressive eyes and the communication he has with them, look at RYAN REYNOLDS DEADPOOL as a example of how white eyes work broski
this man is addicted to strawman arguments
who knew characters with full face masks generally work better with this concept over characters played by real actors and who don't have full face masks would look good with white eyes.
Talking to superhero fans always feels like talking to children because their attachment to them is the same as a child's obsession with their favorite action figure. Any time you criticize any depictions of their favorite character they act like you just broke their favorite toy
