So the advice is rarely objective when your success changes someone’s position in the hierarchy. People don’t fear your idea. They fear what happens if your idea works. Becouse they’re competing with you- same starting point. If you win and they don’t, society does the math automatically.

The people closest to you are often the last ones to celebrate you. Strangers cheer. Peers go quiet.

You share something, and people you’ve never met like it, share it, and comment on it. Your close friends? Silent. Not one like. Not one comment. Nothing.

And before you say they’re busy - they’re not. You can see them liking celebrity posts. Commenting on random reels. They’re very much online. Very much active. That’s not an accident, that’s psychology.

That's not cruelty. It's how people are wired when the stakes feel personal.

Here is an interesting part- Human psychology is brutal. The moment your success becomes undeniable, suddenly everyone becomes proud to know you.

Everything changes - They’re now your biggest supporters. They’re telling their cousins their old friend built something big. They want to meet, reconnect, and grab coffee.

The reason is simple - Being close to you makes them look good. So now they want to be close.

Nobody’s the villain here. That’s just how humans are wired. Protect yourself accordingly.
