Reservation for SC/ST is about representation. It had nothing to do with economic criteria. If that were the case, Kharge ji and many others would not have been insulted. Secondly, reservation was a compromise in place of separate electorates.

Yesterday was the birthday of Ajay Gogavale — one half of the famous Ajay-Atul duo. 🎶

Born on 21 August 1976 in Pune, Ajay and his elder brother Atul grew up in different villages of Maharashtra because of their father’s transferable government job.

They did not come from a musical family or have any big connection in the film industry. They started by experimenting with different instruments and slowly got into local bands, advertisements and jingles.

Their big breakthrough came with Vishwa Vinayak, followed by Marathi films like Natarang, Jogwa, Lai Bhaari and Sairat, and Hindi films like Agneepath, Singham, PK and Dhadak.

In 2008, Ajay-Atul won the National Film Award for Best Music Direction for Jogwa.

What makes Ajay-Atul special is how they take Maharashtrian folk music, dhol, lavani and traditional sounds and make them feel modern.

From Man Udhan Varyache to Zingaat, their music has become a part of Maharashtra’s cultural identity.

Ajay-Atul is not just music for Maharashtra. Their music has become a part of our culture.

Bajaj pune grand tour साठी अख्या पुण्यातले खड्डे बुजवले का तर विदेशातून लोक भाग घेणार‌ होते. त्यानंतर सरकार आणि प्रशासन दोघं झोपी गेले. अखेर काल एका ११ वर्षीय मुलाचा खड्ड्यामुळे दुर्देवी मृत्यू झाला. हजारो लोकांनी आवाज उठवला, त्याच्या अंत्ययात्रेला एकत्र आले. तेंव्हा कुठे सरकार आणि प्रशासनाला खाड्ड्कन जाग आली आणि आता हालचाली चालू झाल्या. निष्क्रिय शब��द पण लाजेल असा तर यांचा कारभार आहे!
