Following Elon Musk's inappropriate and inflammatory comments about racist rioting in the UK, I am suspending activity on this and my corporate account. If you still want to hear from me, do find me on LinkedIn and Instagram.
@sorrell_sorr12 Hi Elizabeth, not directly relevant but if you need expert comments for your piece / or comments on the new law to quash the convictions - let me know, I have a solicitor lined up to discuss.
@oliviadjourno Hi Olivia, just on the off-chance that you are going to be covering the announcement of a new law quashing convictions, I have an expert solicitor available. Do let me know if I can help.
@JoPhoenix1@LizMcG_emplaw I actually don’t have any issue with taking notes, but I’m not going to do it purely on the basis of being female and on the expectation of the men also at the table.
@JoPhoenix1@LizMcG_emplaw Grr! I had it at a strategy session at the trust where I’m vice-chair of the board of governors at a primary school. The two women at the table were looked at when there was a suggestion that notes were taken. I refused and suggested by name that one of the men did it instead.
The point about privilege and PR is really that looking younger via tweakments is, in my opinion, another potential barrier to entry or progression. Rich people can afford good tweakments but they shouldn’t be an entry point or an expectation in any part of anybody’s life.
What would 51-year-old fashion director Anna Murphy look like if she cosmetically enhanced her face?
Her new book explains how the Botoxed look became the norm in her world 👇 https://t.co/QuT95yQ6s5
Lots of things here that I’m trying to unpack. I think what I’m trying to say is that nobody should feel that they have to alter their face in order to ‘fit in’.
