Commentator Marina Purkiss: ‘If Russia is banned, why isn't Israel? Israel, one war crime after another, ongoing genocide, a ceasefire violated daily.’
God I remember when this happened.
The IOF shoot an unarmed man and then locals rush to help him and try save his life only for israel to drop a airstrike right on their heads.
Absolutely horrifying 😔💔
They are so so sick and evil I just despair at these monsters!!
This is not about a threat to life. It is about children.
One bullet to the heart, and a family is shattered, a future is lost, and hope is gone.
Israel continues to target children—this time inside a UN facility. In 1,000 days, Israel has killed around 25,000 children in the ME.
Ivanka Trump talks about her conversion to Judaism with GOP megadonor Miriam Adelson at an Israeli-American Council event during Trump's first term.
"I never normally talk about this, but we're amongst friends..."
"I actually converted before [Jared and I] became engaged..."
I wonder how much of an influence this had on Trump's philo-Semitism?

🚨A horrifying footage shows an Israeli airstrike targeting an ambulance transporting wounded Palestinians to a hospital in Gaza during the genocide war.
💢 “They were children playing with kites. They were just sitting there playing. They are killing children.”
Israeli forces shot 10-year-old Palestinian girl Amal Abu Khater in the back, killing her instantly as she sat eating lunch inside her displaced family’s tent in western Khan Younis, southern Gaza, on Monday.
Amal had just returned from memorizing the Quran and performing the Dhuhr prayer, her family told Drop Site.
“There were people who felt safe, sitting in their tents. It’s supposed to be a safe area, and it is full of displaced people,” Amal’s relative Hassan Abu Khater told Drop Site’s Mohamed Ahmed.
“What did she do to deserve to be killed? She was sitting and eating sweets... What sin did this little girl commit?” Amal’s grandmother, Samira Abu Khater said.
Eight Palestinians, including two children, have been killed in Israeli attacks across Gaza since dawn Monday. “They fire indiscriminately,” Samira said.

On October 26, 2025, Muhammad Bahajat al-Halaq, 9, was playing soccer with other children and teenagers in the schoolyard of the village of a-Rihiya in the Hebron district. During the game, two military jeeps entered the village. Fearing that the soldiers would fire tear gas at them, as had happened before, the children ran from the playground and hid among the houses.
Four soldiers exited one of the jeeps. Two of them began shooting in the direction in which the children had fled. One soldier fired tear gas canisters, while the other fired live ammunition. One of the bullets struck Muhammad. After he was shot, the soldiers continued firing tear gas toward the spot where he had fallen. When a local resident tried to reach Muhammad, the soldiers shot at him as well. Eventually, the man managed to reach Muhammad and evacuate him. Muhammad was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
His mother, ‘Aliyah, said that Muhammad loved soccer, was an excellent student, and dreamed of becoming a doctor. “When he played with his brothers, he would always ask them to call him ‘Dr. Muhammad.’ But that dream will never be fulfilled now that he has been shot and killed by an Israeli soldier.”
Muhammad is one of 54 children and teens killed by Israeli forces in the West Bank in 2025. Our report, Unshielded Childhood, tells their stories and the circumstances that led to each of their deaths.
Since October 2023, 1,100 Palestinians have been killed by Israel in the West Bank, including 242 children and teenagers, through 27 July 2026. This reality is the result of an Israeli policy that enables and sanctions the killings, with no one held accountable.

In the scandal of the Open Letter, the @guardian should do an investigation - given the following facts that have now emerged.
1. Mumia Abu-Jamal did not give consent for his signature on this letter.
2. Several initial signatories, such as Robin DG Kelley, have now retracted their signatures saying that the letter that was published was not what was shown to them.
a. Why did the Guardian's editorial team not check to make sure that the signatures were accurate? They could have asked to see emails or - in the case of Mumia - letters to verify the signatures on such a consequential statement.
b. Why did the Guardian not verify with the signatories that what they were publishing was indeed what the signatories had read?
The @guardian is responsible for ensuring accuracy. It turns out that they let slip a poorly executed intelligence operation.
The accusation that I am antisemitic is appalling and fundamentally dishonest. Criticizing the actions of the Israeli prime minister, a military technology contract, or the executives who supply it is not the same as criticizing Jewish people. This critical and necessary dialogue is then dishonestly framed as being anti-Israel. To be clear, my views come from my own political convictions and should never be interpreted as hostility toward Jewish people, for whom I have deep love and respect. Everything I know about acting, activism, and humanism has been profoundly shaped by the Jewish friends, colleagues, and loved ones who have been integral and family throughout every point of my life.
This merger has real consequences for real people, and for the entire country. Scrutinizing the Ellisons, including Oracle’s business built on data, surveillance technology and government contracts, and the serious threat to editorial freedom and the loss of a livelihood for thousands of families, is fair and necessary. The $111 billion deal would hand one family control over CNN, HBO and Warner Bros., backed in part by foreign money whose influence on editorial decisions has never been fully explained to the public.
Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have called for serious national security review, and regulators still haven’t given the public a real answer. Until they do, the merger shouldn’t move forward. Now is the time to dive boldly into all these issues, not step back or concede.

But the moment Palestinians hit back, the world screams “terrorists.”
HORRIFIC.
