"For Go Yoon-jung, it was a stroke of luck that Kim Seon-ho was cast as Joo Ho-jin, a multilingual interpreter who coordinates romantic relationships. She said she's always admired Kim Seon-ho's acting and has always wanted to collaborate with him at least once.
"When I watch my senior Seonho acting, he gives it when it's time to put in some effort, and when it's time to let it go, he lets it go. I felt that he was really good at a variety of things, from comedy to emotional acting. I always thought it would be nice to have the opportunity to watch and learn from him at least once, and that's how we met. I observed and imitated him a lot while filming. He was about 10 years older than me, and seeing him enjoying himself on set and acting made me think, 'I want to work happily like that in the future too.'"
Go Yoon-jung's sincere teaching of "MZ-style memes" played a significant role in bridging the considerable 10-year generation gap. Thanks to this, Kim Seon-ho even joked with reporters in a previous interview, "Isn't this MZ?"
"Because of the age difference, I really wanted to make sure he didn't feel uncomfortable. Our hair and makeup team are so close and joke around a lot, and my senior, Seonho, who was overhearing our conversation, asked, 'What's so funny about you?' That's when I taught him a meme or two. I taught him really diligently, and since our sense of humor meshed so well, he learned it well. Later, he sang a song to me and said, 'Don't you know this song? You better work hard!' I thought to myself, 'I've raised an amazing person.' Haha."
According to the MBTI personality test, Cha Moo-hee is F (emotional) and Joo Ho-jin is T (rational). In reality, Go Yoon-jung is calm and Kim Seon-ho is emotional. Because their lines were awkward, they exchanged lines and talked a lot, which helped them better understand their characters' emotions.
"Senior Sunho asked me first, 'Don't you think Hojin's lines will be too hurtful?' But I wasn't hurt by those lines at all. Since we had different perspectives, we ended up exchanging scripts and sharing opinions like, 'Is it okay?' and 'How does it sound?' to create an appropriate emotional line. If the emotional range I had initially planned was a bit narrow, after talking to my senior, I would think, 'Oh, it's okay to broaden it a bit,' and make adjustments. It was very helpful."

He said that the male lead's gaze was the key to completing the melodrama, and expressed special affection for Kim Seon-ho, saying that the work would not have been completed without him.
"I think the reason the female lead looks so lovable is because the male lead looks at her with such love. My senior, Seonho, did a fantastic job with that role. I had a lot to do, but I couldn't have accomplished it without him. I relied on him so much, and I learned from him. Having such a great role model beside me inspired me, and I gained a lot of good ideas. It was a time when I truly trusted my colleagues on set and gave my all to do whatever I wanted."
As much as I had trust in Kim Seon-ho, it wasn't that difficult to fall for Joo Ho-jin, who he played.
"In Japan, a woman suddenly showed up, complaining about her struggles because of her ex-boyfriend, and Joo Ho-jin accepted her. He could have refused her unreasonable request to be her interpreter. Even when she returned to Korea and the dancer was in a coma, he visited her several times to check on her well-being. So, of course, she couldn't help but love Ho-jin. However, I thought that love and anxiety would come at the same time. She's clumsy in love and has a childhood trauma."
Go Yoon-jung, who said that she likes an affectionate style like Joo Ho-jin in her usual dating style, revealed that she is also shy but affectionate.
"I'm a bit shy. It takes time to get close to someone, but when we do, I feel sad to part ways. I cried at the last filming of every project. My senior, Seonho, said he never cried, but he cried at the end of this project. He then asked me, 'How could you cry during every filming?' Haha. I'm very affectionate, but I think I'm also not very good at expressing myself. I think I naturally become close to people who express themselves a lot, whether they're friends or lovers."
