Christians are a heavily persecuted religious group worldwide. The situation in Nigeria is particularly dire.
Today we voted to protect the rights of Christians persecuted in Nigeria. To clearly condemn all violence perpetrated against civilians and denounce the alarming rise in targeted abductions and kidnappings;
It is extremely important and urgent that the EU Special Envoy for the promotion of freedom of religion or belief outside the EU pays particular attention to the deteriorating situation of Christians and to address the persecution of Christians in the dialogue with Nigeria.
“Silence. The world is silent. While in Nigeria a massacre has taken place.
These are not numbers. These are entire families being exterminated.”
Powerful speech today from MEP @SardoneSilvia on the persecution of Christians in Nigeria 🇳🇬
This is Mr. Benjamin, and he is in charge of assessments for the International STEM Olympiad.
He said that this year's exam was the toughest ever, and for our boys to get gold, it means they are far ahead of their peers.
Nigeria has the brightest untapped brains globally.
Over 30,000 children have already registered for the 2027 South East Maths Olympiad.
We will be unlocking a new set of exceptional students and teachers.
They all need our support to reach the heights of their greatness.
Education equals prosperity.
The Observatory of Religious Freedom in Africa (ORFA) just put out its long-awaited 6-year update on ethno-religious killings and abductions in Nigeria 🇳🇬. It is a serious study that will become main reference point for years.
I wanted to do a thread on its findings👇@SKefason
The last time Nigeria participated in the International Maths Olympiad (IMO) was in 2019.
The government's reason then was that it was not important enough.
The actual funding required is less than the cost of a brand new Hilux.
This is the most prestigious academic competition in the world, and our children have been deprived of participation for years.
Education has been pushed to the back seat for a long time, while illiteracy has been elevated.
This needs to stop now!
Let me explain the NDC court ruling in simple business terms.Imagine this scenario: An unregistered business — one that was never duly registered with the CAC and has no trademark — takes a properly registered company with a trademarked logo to court and says:“I wanted to register my business and this logo back in 2015, but I never did. My business is still unregistered and my logo is not trademarked. Kindly deregister this legitimate, registered business with its trademarked logo.”And the court replied: “Okay, no problem.”Nigeria is currently going through a serious judicial crisis. At this point, we might as well admit we no longer have a functional judicial system. What a country.
Nigeria: Nine Christians were killed – and another 11 severely injured – after Fulani Islamists attacked them in Ungwan Majaji, Kaduna State during the night of June 16.
The Muslims used assault rifles, axes and machetes to savage the innocent Christians, who had gathered to mourn the recent passing of a grandmother.
Many children were among the lost and maimed.
This act was pure evil – even Satanic.
Pray for the departed, their grieving families and those struggling to recover.
We are marshaling help now.

Hello X, this is my first post in months and I’m reintroducing myself.
For a long time, I've been introduced simply as a lawyer.
But the truth is, my journey has become much bigger than legal practice.
Over the years, I've had the privilege of serving in courtrooms
I am passionate about raising ethical leaders, strengthening institutions, expanding access to justice, and helping individuals and organizations navigate complex legal and governance challenges.
This page will now become a space where I share insights on:
Today, as National Executive Director of the Christian Lawyers Fellowship of Nigeria (CLASFON) and Partner at Wingedfire Legal Consult, my work sits at the intersection of:
📍Leadership Development
📍Legal Practice & Consultancy
📍Institutional Development
Along the way, I've also learned that sustainable change requires more than legal knowledge.
It requires leadership.
It requires institutions.
It requires people who are willing to serve.
I’ve represented detainees through the Police Duty Solicitors Scheme and also contributed to the human rights advocacy within the Nigerian Bar Association.
I've seen firsthand how the law can protect dignity, restore hope, and transform lives.
advising clients, supporting institutions, coordinating access-to-justice initiatives, mentoring young professionals, and working alongside remarkable leaders committed to building a better Nigeria.
COMMUNIQUÉ OF THE 2026 NBA LEGAL EDUCATION SUMMIT
Please find attached the Communiqué issued at the 2026 NBA Legal Education Summit held on 25 May 2026 at the NBA National Secretariat, Abuja, under the theme: “Accelerating Legal Education Reform in Nigeria: Progress, Problems and Prospects.”
The Summit brought together key stakeholders across the legal education ecosystem to critically examine the state of legal education in Nigeria and chart a sustainable pathway for reform. Following extensive deliberations, participants adopted far-reaching resolutions and recommendations aimed at strengthening standards, modernising curricula, enhancing practical legal training, integrating technology, improving institutional collaboration, and promoting practice-ready legal education.
This Communiqué reflects the NBA’s collective commitment with stakeholders to reposition legal education for excellence, global competitiveness, and effective justice delivery.
We urge members of the Bar, policymakers, legal educators, students, and the public to review the Communiqué and support implementation of its recommendations as we work to transform legal education in Nigeria.

China educated ALL rural children before it started building the massive infrastructure
Nigeria was ahead and richer than China in terms of GDP per capita from 1960 to the late 1970s; this was not because of oil, it's because Nigeria educated everyone for free
No economy on Earth has grown without an increase in education spending. There is a positive correlation between educational achievement and GDP per capita
You can argue, or you can do your own research
Mozambique Bishop Osório Citora Afonso was killed after gunmen entered his residence and opened fire weeks after he warned that Christians were being killed by Islamist insurgents.
