Months ago I preached at the Church Under the Bridge. Don't mind the posture please.

I didn't preach for long. But I preached the gospel to them, the goodnews that is equally needed by both the rich and the poor.

At a point, I asked them to look around in Lekki, pointed to the big cars and houses and told them it will all burn one day.

That they have what is most treasured and important, eternal life. That it nothing else matters. There was joy in the camp.

The good news that levels both the highborn and lowborn into fallen and dead condemned who need the saving grace of God.

Everyone in the church rejoiced. I could feel and sense because the gospel had been preached to them.

This was what Jesus did. This was what his apostles did. The gospel preached to everyone, without discrimination.

This prosperity gospel that our 'apostles' are peddling is not of God. And soon, soon, He will come and cleanse His church.
