We just supported Kyle & Victoria Fitzgerald/Lam’s fundraiser for CANADIAN FALLEN FIREFIGHTERS FOUNDATION (CFFF)’s 2025 Toronto Fire Fighters Celtic Society Memorial Ride to Ottawa You can too! https://t.co/hUG39SJ9ul
Today we celebrate a milestone in #firefighter health and safety. For firefighters with #skincancer, new legislation reduces the required duration of service period from 15 to 10 years.
Thank you @fordnation and @ONGov for supporting those who chose to protect us 24/7/365.

A historic milestone for Toronto Pearson Fire & Emergency Services! For the first time, on August 30th, 2024, we had an all-female engine crew! 🚒
We are proud to share this incredible occasion as our team leads the way in inspiring future generations. Their dedication and service commitment exemplify our team's strength and resilience.
The newest addition to Toronto Pearson’s firefighting arsenal has arrived. 🚒
These state-of-the-art Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) trucks are officially in service at Canada’s busiest airport. The ARFF trucks are critical tools the airport uses to respond to emergencies of all types. 🧯
These trucks are equipped with a 12,000 litre water tank, which can drain in under 2 minutes, a tank that can hold 1,500 litres of foam, and can reach a top speed of 120 km/h. 💦
These fire trucks can also be operated by a single firefighter. Here’s a snippet of the truck in action. Check back later this week where we will have more footage of these trucks in action.
Here’s more video from Toronto Pearson’s full-scale emergency exercise.
First responders and airport officials are simulating the real-time response to an explosion in Terminal 1. There is no threat to public safety. #YYZEmergEX
Caught up with James Call from the Smithsonian at the Sprinkler Petting Zoo today. Got to talk about his session on responding to sprinkler activation. Experience and insight! #NFPAExperience#NFPAconf
