Congratulations to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who has graduated from @RMASandhurst.

Sheikh Mohammed excelled in his studies, becoming the first #Emirati in history to be awarded both the ‘International Sword’, which recognises the best international cadet of the Academy’s intake, and the International Award, for the best overall results in military, academic and practical studies.

I was honoured to accompany Sheikh @HamdanMohammed , Sheikh @MaktoumMohammed, Sheikh @AhmedMohammed and Sheikh @SheikhMansoor at the graduation ceremony for the academy’s Commissioning Course 241 and in congratulating Sheikh Mohammed on his achievements, which are testament to his dedication, skill, and commitment. This is a moment of immense pride for the UAE and all who have supported him in his journey, and I wish him continued success and excellence in service of our nation.

The ceremony underscored the historic partnership between the #UAE and the #UK. Since 2010, more Emirati personnel have enrolled at Sandhurst than any other nation, studying and training alongside Britain’s armed forces.
