Why can the @Zoom function #multipin only be enabled by the host? It's used by #Deaf and #BSL interpreters frequently. It feels like gatekeeping full access and takes away independence and ability to be discreet about the set up that works best for us.

As COVID-19 has altered instruction in K-12 and higher education settings, we’re seeing Deaf & HoH students fall through the cracks.
Because there are multiple challenges w/ eLearning, we created a list of 10 tips for educators, parents/guardians, and students to consider.
ASL teachers, assign your students projects to transcribe or caption videos requested by Deaf people.
Make it part of their grades, as community accountability is part of the ticket to learning our language, our culture.
