Paid all my staff their salary today.

I hired someone a few weeks ago, one of their questions was "when should I expect my salary?"

I was genuinely surprised by this question and it took me a second to understand where they were coming from.

I said, "latest, end of the month, but most likely earlier than that."

"Every month?"

I was even more shocked.

"Yeah, every month, as long as you are still working for me anyway."

A salary is a debt. And I pay my debts as fast as I can.
