@DavidHundeyin The fact that this isn’t common knowledge is very alarming and I wish you waited several days after the meltdown to post this so it goes farther.
Nigerians don’t like to read to understand.
@Pamilerin1010@bin_gbada like i said “national goals” not my parents.
as a nation we projected more confidence internationally, we were sovereign, we were secure, cost of living was better. public schools were heavily subsidized and the standards were high. you can research this anywhere.
@oluwafemi_ao@bin_gbada everything isn’t for you to laugh about. sometimes add value to the conversation. I’m not supporting Abacha but I’m asking questions that simple minded individuals like YOU have failed to ask. did he not create six states?
your argument is too simple.
I believe from my own research that he pursued serious national goals while also abusing power.
I’m not saying good policies erase corruption, but corruption does not automatically erase every good policy. Both can be true at the same time.
He stole money. Yes, that’s what they told us. But does that mean he didn’t do any good thing? This is what I’m asking.
Dear African Leaders,
You want a permanent seat at the U.N.
Your own citizens are still waiting for a seat at the table in their own country.
Maybe earn their confidence before asking for the world’s.
