Today I witnessed America in decline firsthand.

While waiting to check out, I watched a police officer help a non English speaking man pay for his items. The man had tried to leave the store without paying. He seemed to think everything in America is free.

A white, middle aged couple beside me were beside themselves. Flabbergasted if you will. They weren’t angry about the theft. They were angry that a cop made a brown man pay.
