Remember Axen, the custom workout app I’ve been building?

I wanted this clean, techy, glowing look — futuristic and sharp.

Then I built the actual app… and the colors didn’t match.
Tried forcing the same glow style inside the app — it looked awful.
So I paused. Looked closer at what Axen really is.
It’s about clarity, focus, no distractions.
Not “flashy”, not “pretty for screenshots”.

I simplified everything — flat colors, dark base, one accent tone.
Risky move, but it finally feels like the product.

Sometimes the design finds its truth when you stop trying to impress it.

Tried migrating a simple HTML template to Next.js with Cursor.

In case you’re wondering if it worked…
It didn’t.
Fonts, colors, layout — everything broke.

It was supposed to be a small migration…
now it looks like a new project. 💀

Eg. access a route, add N objects of something (eg. 5habits), etc
