No fundo, a gente sabia que precisava acabar assim.
Depois de transformarem a convocação num culto, depois de metade do Brasil depositar esperança num super-herói hipotético, esse era o final perfeito pro Neymarzismo Cultural.

Quando o Brasil precisou do camisa 10 que fez 4 jogos inteiros e 4 filhos nos últimos 4 anos, Neymar finalmente entregou tudo que ainda podia entregar: não marcou, arrumou confusão, viu o Brasil tomar gol e cobrou um pênalti provocando o goleiro como se a gente estivesse ganhando de 5 a 0.

Mas não se enganem: a notícia é boa.

Foram 12 anos de uma Seleção refém de um gênio que desperdiçou a própria genialidade virando influencer de luxo. Um país inteiro ajoelhado diante de um sonho que nunca virou realidade.

Pelé não ganhou Copa sozinho. Romário não ganhou Copa sozinho. Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Ronaldinho e Kaká também não.

O Brasil nunca foi sobre um gênio sozinho.

Sempre foi sobre onze pessoas entendendo que a camisa pesa mais que o ego.

I cannot fathom the hate Paraguay is getting. Even if they are irritating and can be floppers and divers.

They beat Germany. They didn't let France, the best attack in the world, score a goal besides questionable pk.

France has 70 million people, tons of academies, tons of money, a recruiting pipeline from African countries that were once French colonies, the Ballon D'or winner, one of the best players in the world in Mbappe, and a team depth that basically only 1 other team can rival.

Yet people are clapping seals for them and ripping on how Paraguay played? A country of 7 million people, a country ranked like 100 in terms of GDP and wealth, ranked 41st in the world via FIFA rankings, and zero stars.

I think only Almiron and Encisco played in the EPL at some point lol. Yet people expect them to go toe to toe with the best team in the world? "But but but anti-football!" They're trying to win. Only people who have never played the game would have the gameplan to play an open game against the best attacking team in the world. Genius.

Well done Paraguay. You guys may have some cheap tactics too, but that's how you take it to the tournament favorites.

Do jeito que vocês falam, parece que o Neymar ganhou três Copas do Mundo pelo Brasil.

O Neymar nunca fez gol em todos os jogos da fase de grupos de uma Copa.

Em 2018 virou meme mundial por ficar rolando no chão.

Nunca foi eleito o melhor do mundo (o Vinícius Júnior já foi eleito pela FIFA e foi roubado na Bola de Ouro).

O Neymar foi muito mais jogador, isso é óbvio. Mas o tempo dele passou e com a seleção não ganhou nada além de um torneio extinto e uma competição de base.

Dizer que o Vini está fazendo "1% do que o Neymar fez" é ser completamente lunático. Esse tipo de discurso só gera mais antipatia pelo Neymar.

Pelé precisou jogar apenas 4 copas do Mundo para ser campeão de 3 COPAS DO MUNDO.

É o único jogador da história a ter 3 títulos de Copa do Mundo.

Nunca precisou se aposentar da seleção por contas de fracassos.

O Messi? Precisou jogar 5 COPAS para ter 1 título. Precisou jogar 6 COPAS para ultrapassar Pelé em gols. Já se aposentou da seleção por causa de um vice de Copa América.

Large Language Models are NOT artificial intelligence - they are high-powered probabilistic generative language algorithms. The general principles for building them were known 40+nyears ago (I remember the concepts from my AI and Linguistics Master’s degree, EDIN, 1991), but the vastly lower memory capacities, processing power and corpus availability at that time made implementing them impractical.

They are sophisticated SIMULATIONS of artificial intelligence - sort of fancy modern-day ELIZAs (Google it, and also Google “Eliza effect”), which fooled quite a few people in their day. (One of my first-year AI practicals was to implement an ELIZA in Prolog.)
