Robert Horry on Wemby:
βIβm not saying heβs not great, heβs a great defensive player, but they trying to make him the be all now. Like he is Godβs gift to basketballβ¦ Give him time. Let him matureβ¦ Donβt give it to him. Let him take it.β

Aneesah Morrow is off to an impressive start to her second season, averaging (12.8) points and (10.4) rebounds through her first 11 games of the year.
After recording a 20-point, 13-rebound performance tonight, Morrow is now tied with Teaira McCowan for the 17th-most double-doubles through a player's first two WNBA seasons. She sits just six double-doubles shy of cracking the top 10, and if she continues at her current pace, she could realistically finish her second season ranked among the top five on the all-time list.
It's no surprise that the Chicago native is one of just five players currently averaging a double-double this season. Even as a rookie, she showed a knack for producing whenever given extended opportunities. This year, Morrow has recorded a double-double in eight of the nine games in which she has played at least 20 minutes.
We'll see her back in action on Friday when the Connecticut Sun take on the Chicago Sky. πͺ
