Working on mockups for the VideoRSS upload tool. We're developing this in the open so we'd love your feedback! Which style variation most tickles your fancy? Let us know!

@zimnickico@_buildspace We would also supply the end-user with an embed link and HTML web-player streaming their video directly from the Internet Computer, as well as help manage and moderate one of the main repos across a federated network of other potential hosts.
@zimnickico@_buildspace Perhaps the name is a bit deceiving. It's really more of an "open, distributed video storage, hosting, and streaming infrastructure & repository" built on Dfinity's Internet Computer than the actual syndication protocol itself, we're just using stock RSS 2.0.1 as is.
@not_anth@_nightsweekends@_buildspace There's no way to have it both ways, there's no way to force advertisers to run ads on material they find objectionable, nor for creators be featured on an ad-supported platform with no risk of that money being pulled, it's a risk you're forced to take. We provide a backup option
We're building VideoRSS, a new way for creators to share content directly with their audience. More to come soon but for now it's grind mode.

@not_anth@_nightsweekends@_buildspace What we would encourage creators to do tho is to build really strong brand relationships and sponsorships, that way they're completely in control of where their ad revenue is coming from. A solid audience buying merch or exclusive content may be a bigger source of revenue tho.
@not_anth@amit_ajwani@_buildspace Brave Sir Robin and our merry band love a good galavant, what a tremendous name for such a glorious activity. Onward, to victory! Brave, brave, brave, brave Sir Robin...
@sdrshn_nmbr@amit_ajwani@_buildspace Is it in the cloud or local? Because it sounds dope but a little scary when you use words like AI assistant in your drive or dropbox. Knows our info better than we do? Who does? That's a privacy and security concern.
