Regarding Zac Efron's Oscar chances for The Iron Claw, he's definitely good in the film and also has the physical transformation going for him (he's seriously beefy in this) but it's not a sure thing by any means.
The Iron Claw hits some of the standard biopic highlights and never quite finds the right balance between frothy wrestling drama and tragic family tales. But for fans of the NWA and 80s nostalgia this will hit hard.
