All due respect to winners & presenters, but this year's #Oscars was a near-total disgrace in almost every conceivable way. Patrionizing & unprofessional to an unimaginable degree, it's an embarrassment to those who argue awards should matter, that movies should matter. Shameful.
Well, I certainly picked a great year to watch my first live broadcast of the Oscars. In spite of the whole thing being presented like a Sportsnight highlights reel.
