Tappy was one of my early heroes as you can see in my profile pic. I was so pleased to see him in the parade around Highbury at the last game 2006. I too was at that memorable game being thrilled at seeing the Busby Babes live.

Remembering Derek Tapscott today on his birthday.He played for Arsenal between 1953-8 and was a prolific scorer netting 68 times in 132 appearances including playing in the 4-5 defeat against United their last domestic match before The Munich Air Crash.I attended that game

@hente_afsc Great clip. Was and will always be my best ever game. Got there at 3 o'clock to queue and the gates were shut at 6. We all took a piece of the pitch home with us that night.
