I have a long career writing about video games and tech. I'm currently doing consulting work, helping publishers and developers with content polish and tweaks.
@RealKidPoker You may not think he's exceptional, but there has to be a reason he's been **the most-streamed artist on Spotify four of the last six years**. You don't beat out Taylor Swift as a fluke. He has a large, diverse audience, likely one that the NFL wanted to draw to watch the game.
@David_Jagneaux It was cool...I don't know much about his music, but I'm all for expanding my musical exposure. There's a reason he's topped most of the annual Spotify most-streamed charts the last few years. I just wish they'd provided English captions.
@DHSgov What a disgusting display, continuing to lie about and demeaning a US citizen who's dead at the hands of rogue agents for being in traffic. Last I knew, traffic violations weren't capital crimes...and, no, she didn't try to run him over. He was clear enough to fire three shots.
@thetodd240@MarkRWeaver@AdameMedia The ICE agent who ended up shooting her had her license plate on the video he recorded as he walked around her car. If you watch his video, which is all over the news today, you'd see all that. He didn't need to shoot her. 2/2
@thetodd240@MarkRWeaver@AdameMedia Where is this info coming from? She was reportedly going to pick up her kid at school, and video shows her waving ICE vehicles through, before she could drive off. That's not a crime. And if it was, lethal force isn't warranted for a traffic violation or for driving away. 1/2
@LawTubeSean@MarkRWeaver@AdameMedia The agents weren't telling her to stop. She was already stopped, waiting for her wife to get in the car and for the ICE agent who ended up shooting her to come around her vehicle. And an ICE agent was trying to open her door, a violation of her rights.
@johndoe20472947 @drunkanim@MarkRWeaver@AdameMedia "Ice watch"? What does that even mean? Like you think she was hunting Ice agents or something? You guys will believe any lie you're told...
@drunkanim@MarkRWeaver@AdameMedia First, watch some videos including the one from the agent's own phone...she talked to him, so he wasn't in front of the car, he was next to it. She backed up first to literally steer clear of the agent. Her wheels were turned away from him. She drove off when an ICE agent... 1/2
@MarkRWeaver@AdameMedia This is your thinking and you're a lawyer? Imagine you're a woman and some angry, overreacting ICE agents are trying to open your door, yelling "Get the fuck out of your car!" What about her rights? What about use-of-force rules? And it's not clear she stopped for a violation.
@Jusebs12@TheRickWilson The "strategy" is, Trump makes an announcement that makes him look magnanimous and decisive, but in fact nothing changes, because he doesn't have the power he claims he has. Peters was convicted of a state crime, and the president can only pardon federal crime. 🤷♂️
@spazziehotdog@GeorgieGeorge40@JamieBonkiewicz Imagine I'm selling a car—you test drive it and plan to buy. Then I say, "...but I'm taking out the seats."
The GOP plan to fund the gov't doesn't renew healthcare subsidies, so if the Dems agreed, people would suffer massive insurance hikes. That's why the Dems are voting No.
@RhondaRides@RepRaskin Two sets of statistics increasing over the same period doesn't prove a relationship. The US had nearly 165 million registered vehicles in 1983, while it rose to nearly 300 million in 2024. Would you then say autism—or the number of vaccines—goes up with car registrations?
