The actual AI operating system is NixOS. It's Rust for your computers. Why do you even allow it to break, make it categorically impossible. Have the LLM deal with the hassle, just tell it what you want and NixOS is the thing it needs to make that happen.

i think acp is pretty cool. don't know why harnesses weren't built with the idea of having a unified interface in the first place, but it's nice not being tied down to harness-specific tuis and sdks when building your own harness-agnostic stuff.
@paolino thank you! the official desktop app both uses a ton of ram and doesn't support aarch64-linux at all (my asahi macbook). this has been a perfect drop-in replacement for both my systems. :)
