இசைஞானி இளையராஜாவின் பேச்சைக் கேட்டு அடைந்த மனக் கவலை இன்னும் தீரவில்லை.

பொதுவாக இளையராஜாவின் இசைக் கச்சேரியில் “ஜனனி ஜனனி” பாடலோடு ஆரம்பித்துத் தொடர்ந்து பேச்சுக் கச்சேரி இராமல் பாடல்களோடே பயணிப்பார்.
இந்த இசைப் பயணம் அவரின் ஐம்பதாண்டுக் கொண்டாட்டமாக அமைந்ததால் தன்னுடைய இசைப் பயணத்தைப் பகிர்ந்தார்.
அதுவெல்லாம் நாம் அனுபவப்பட்டது தான்.

ஆனால்
இந்த அனுபவத்தை எல்லாம் பகிர்ந்து விட்டு ஒன்று சொன்னார் பாருங்கள்.
அதுதான் நெகிழ வைத்து விட்டது.

“என்னுடைய இத்தனை ஆண்டுப் பயணத்தில் எத்தனை கஷ்டங்களை அனுபவிச்சிருப்பேன், எத்தனை சோதனைகளைக் கடந்து வந்திருப்பேன்.

ஆயிரம் படங்களைக் கடந்து இத்தனை பாடல்களை வித விதமாகக் கொடுத்திருக்கிறேன் என்றால் அதெல்லாம் யாருக்காக?
படத்தில் நடிச்ச நடிகருக்காகவா?
படத்தின் இயக்குநருக்காகவா?
படத்தோட தயாரிப்பாளருக்காகவா?

எல்லாம் உங்களுக்காகத் தான் “

என்றதும் சிலிர்த்து விட்டது.

“என்னோட நீண்ட பேச்சை விட இது தானே வேணும்” என்றவரின் கை உயர
“வழி நிறையக் காட்டுமல்லி”
ஆரம்பித்தது.

அந்த இசை நிகழ்ச்சி முடிந்தும் இன்று வரை ராஜா சார் பேசியது தான் மனசில் ஓடிக் கொண்டிருந்தது.

இவர் சந்திக்காத அவமானங்களா?
இவர் சந்திக்காக நம்பிக்கைத் துரோகங்களா?
அதையெல்லாம் கடந்து இவர் சந்திக்காக தன் உயிருக்கு உயிரான இழப்புகளா?

ஆனாலும் என்ன அந்தப் பரபரப்பான காலத்தில் காலை நாலு மணிக்கு ஓடிப் போய் சங்கீதம் பயின்றவர் இன்று வரை ஓடிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார் தானே?
இதெல்லாம் பணத்துக்காக என்றாப் எங்கே இருப்பார் இவர்?
தனக்குக் கிடைத்த சோதனைகளில் மூழ்கியிருந்தால் முடங்கியிருப்பாரே?

இந்த இணைய உலகில் எத்தனை விதமான வன்மம் அவர் மேல்.

நேற்றுக் கூட ராஜா சாரின் ஆத்ம நண்பராகவும், இசைக் குழுவில் இருந்தவருமான வித்யாகர் (ஜி.கே.வெங்கடேஷ் இன் வளர்ப்பு மகன்) பற்றிய நினைப்பு வந்து அவரைப் பற்றி விசாரித்தால் 15 வருடங்களுக்கு முன்னார் அவர் இறந்த செய்தி வந்தது. ராஜாவைச் சுற்றியிருந்த இசைத் தோழமைகளே உதிர்ந்து போனாலும் அதையெல்லாம் கடந்து அவர் ஓடிக் கொண்டே இருக்கிறார்.

இதனால் தானோ முன்பே எழுதி வைத்தார் இப்படி

நான் படும் பாடுகள் அந்த ஏடுகள்
அதில் எழுதினாலும் முடிந்திடாது

எனக்குதான் தலைவர்கள் என் ரசிகர்கள்
அவர் விரும்பும் வரையில்
