I won’t lie

It was eerie to watch someone who wore the map of Punjab and Gurmukhi as fashion on the Met Gala carpet. (Which I loved and celebrated)

But then spend the next few days reposting those images, even as Punjab was under attack, our gurdwaras in Poonch damaged by shelling, our land and its people targeted by missiles and drones.

Not a word about the state he claimed to represent. Just silence, and selfies and reposts.

It’s just really heartbreaking as a fan. That’s all. 💔
