Halo 3 (a story masterpiece, it wasnt influenced by the agendas of that day it was just trying to tell a space epic and its multiplayer ballance casual and competitive play well, it respected your time and rewarded you for major feats rather than time sunk and shop slop)

Dishonored 2 (a game that encouraged you to test the limits of the sandbox and provided unique paths and problem solving that rewarded the player. Fun engaging combat that could be totally bypassed by a perfect stealth playthru, and and the series introduced an art style that will be admired until the end of time.

Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy (just a fun game that provided so much choice and combat freedom, it didnt try to be technical rather it made you live the fantasy of a lightsaber weilder that actually cut through shit and gave you the freedom to truly choose the light or dark.

Bonus choice: half life 2... I need not say more
