There's an expression something like "if there's a nazi at the table and five other people sitting there who know he's a nazi making polite dinner conversation with him, then there's six nazis at the table." One might quibble with details like 'are they all REALLY nazis' but the
Really is astonishing that just a few years ago Greta was a media darling whose trip across the Atlantic was practically live blogged by all outlets and now she *might actually be murdered* there's barely a peep because her trip this time is to Gaza and the media protects Israel
“They killed my mother — and before that, my brother. I urge everyone: do not go to the American aid distribution points soaked in blood. This bag only contains 2 empty flour sacks — nothing else — & yet they shot & killed my mother as she tried to get us something to eat today.”
Crazy how the US and Israel just came right out and said “Yeah we’re working on permanently ethnically cleansing all Palestinians from the Gaza Strip,” and then the entire western political/media class went right back to pretending to believe this is about fighting Hamas.
Not sure what the point of words is any more. We are witnessing pure evil, and even worse, we are witnessing the full-throated support of that evil among all our institutions, from governments to political parties to media organisations to judiciary. It's a masks off moment.
The revolution is not a sudden bang. It's the quiet, steady choice to love each other through it all. To make room when there's none. To keep choosing each other in a system CREATED to keep us apart.
The revolution is when we look each other in the eye and say: I got you. No matter what. Black love is Black wealth. Love like ours builds nations.
They don't teach you that in textbooks. It's love that built our movements, love that made us take to the streets, love that made us fight back even when we were outnumbered and outarmed.
Love ain't soft. It's strategic. It's a weapon we've used for generations to keep each other alive when the world left us for dead.
Because if they can convince us to stop loving each other, they win. But we know better. That's the revolution. Never forget it.
Black love is how we feed each other, raise each other's kids, build art out of pain, and dream out loud when the world tells us to be silent.
White supremacy wants us numb. We choose connection. It wants us divided. We build deeper bonds. The revolution is always rooted in how we show up for one another again and again without apology.
And today, we see what a country looks like without the leadership of our Black love.
Israel shot and killed an 8-months-pregnant woman today in the Nour Shams refugee camp in the West Bank. Israeli soldiers stopped any medical assistance from reaching them, so both she and the baby inside her died.
Her name was Sundus Shalabi.
if you’re living in LA, and safe, please share footage of what you’re seeing in the comments here. think it would be good to have a single, easy thread to read, to help people understand how bad it is right now
Dear friend Dr Patrick Hart has just been sentenced to 12 months - when questioned by the judge, he said “my whole life has been in service of life, and as long there is air in my lungs I will do what I can to uphold that.”
May we be even half as moral and brave 💔
Dr Pat Hart being sent to prison is actually disgraceful. A lovely guy and an incredible human. What we as doctors should be striving towards - courage - for the care of our patients.

May 2025 lead us to see the end of the Israeli Apartheid in Palestine. Everyone has a role to play in that, as workers, bureaucrats, consumers, voters, citizens. No one should rest until this monstruosity becomes the past.
Hospital trusts need to completely divest from any equipment or goods that are associated with israel.
@NWSSP@TheBMA@NHSuk@bmaforafreePal - is there work to pass this as a motion at the next conference? How can this be negotiated?
