@Trunks_NJ The map is so overscaled. It's not even the best-looking version. You shouldn't have to settle because someone doesn't want to do their job and make the best possible product.
You don't root for someone's failure, but players have been frustrated year after year with how the franchise has been handled and communicated. So how did making games for the broader audience turn out? @Halo#Haloforever
@FreakyAssRipper@Spooky_Sal Launching games with missing features or cut content is the 343i model. KOTH & theater are still broken in H4; H5 had no Forge at launch; Infinite chopped off multiplayer. None of the games' stories flow into each other. IDK how there's interest to be lost; every game was a reset
@J4ckTheRippa What's the scale/scope of your bad game? Sales, player exp, lifespan, concurrent players, launch experience? Pick a target. Halo's had multiple bad games because it dropped the ball and missed multiple targets. Where is the broader audience that 343i developed games for?
@FreakyAssRipper@Spooky_Sal The hope is that Activision will put people in leadership who will drive high-quality finished products (now that xbox isn't fucking around). If they don't and they drop the ball too great, 343i would have done that anyway. At least we now have a chance at getting a W.
@FreakyAssRipper@Spooky_Sal Both are low-effort designs that disrespect the player. That's the point. It's not either/or. Activision doesn't bother me because shortcuts were already being taken, game after game. A sunk cost approach to game development wasn't going to improve Halo or future titles.
The Halo Community right now... (we're never going to agree if Activision is the right call). We need the Chief to lead the way forward and give the people hope @game_fabricator

@Young_Gusano@ChefandArbistor@HeroPlaysGamez Yeah, well, about that. 343i already made that system in Halo Infinite. 343i was never any good at their jobs; that is why they don't have them anymore. 343i is the root cause of the problem, not solely the systems they implemented.
@JustTeeBee If you can't deliver a feature-complete product, nobody gives a shit. Just because the frosting on an underbaked cake is tasty doesn't mean the cake is any good.
@boinksi This didn't fall out of the sky; they made a bad product year over year and didn't listen to player feedback. What did they expect? They have a responsibility to the players who buy their games. If they want jobs, make better products, or else fewer devs will work on the game.
@number1munko YUP, odds are they will, but right now it's 50/50. Before activation, it was 100% going to be trash if 343i made it. Best odds Halo has had in a decade. #haloforever
@FreakyAssRipper@Spooky_Sal LOL, you already did! It was called Halo 5's Warden Eternal. You must not have played that one. Once you fight him 6 times, it all blends together. #Haloforever
@Eltra_Phoenix@zeddikins If Activision messes things up, great; so would 343i, and if they launch a better game, great. It's time to put someone else in control. The children at Halo Studios/343i couldn't handle the responsibility and talked down to players as they pointed out issues year over year.
@Eltra_Phoenix@zeddikins The bar is so low that it doesn't matter what "better" is. 343i has never delivered a feature-complete product at launch in 14 years. Halo's fan base is old and aging out; this sunk-cost idea that if only 343i had more time, "next time will be better," is garbage.
